3 med eggs
1 c sugar
1 c all purpose flour
1 c butter melted


Topping
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c slivered almonds
1 T flour
1 T milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine eggs & sugar in mixing bowl & beat til fluffy. Stir in flour and melted butter. Mix well & pour batter into greased cast iron skillet. (10-12" wide and 1" deep. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes. while cake is warm spread with following topping:

Mix all topping ingredients together in small saucepan. HEat mixture stirring constantly. Do not boil. Allow to simmer for few seconds til mixture becomes thick. Remove from heat. Spread on warm cake & put under broiler in oven til top is golden brown & bubbly. Serve in small wedges. Cake may be refrigerated, but should be served at room temp.
