3/4 c. butter
1 c. plus 2 tbsp brown sugar
1 egg yolk
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp B. powder
1/4 tsp salt __________________________________________

1 egg white
1 tbsp water
sugar

Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar well.
2. Blend in egg yolk and dry ingredients which have ben sifted together.
3. Chill the dough at least three hours. Roll to /18-1/4" thickness on a lightly floured pastry canvas. Cut cookies with floured cookie cutters. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
4.beat egg white and water together with a fork. Brush over cookies with a pastry brush. Sprinkle with sugar.
5.Bake at 350º for 8-10 mins.
