1 c. real butter
1 c. sugar
1 large egg
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. apricot jam

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare 9x9 pan. Mix butter and sugar until slightly light. Add egg, but do not cream in very long. Add flour. Add pecans and mix all together.

Press half the dough into pan. Spread apricot jam on top of dough. Use remaining dough to drop on top in flat pieces that will cover the jam.

Bake at 350º for approximately 40 minutes or until golden across the top.
