1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3 c. quick oatmeal

Mix "gently" and drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 350º 'til done (time was not on handwritten recipe).
