Ingredients:  
1 Loaf of French Bread.
1 medium onion or green onion.
1/2 Cup (1 stick) butter.
1 pound Swiss or Provolone Cheese.

Directions:
Directions:
Saute chopped onion in butter adding a dash of salt. Cut bread in 1/2 inch slices stopping short of cutting all the way through. Place 1/2 slice cheese between each cut. Cover with butter and sautéed onions. Wrap in foil and bake for 30 minutes at 350º
