Oatmeal Cookies with Icing Recipe

2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup (2 sticks butter)-soft at room temperature
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 lrg eggs
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup raisins

For icing:
Powdered sugar
vanilla if desired

In small bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt then set aside. Blend butter and sugars together. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Slowly add in the 3 cups of oatmeal and raisins. Put round teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 7 minutes. Take out and let set on cookie sheet for 1 minute, then remove. Mix up the powdered sugar and water to a frosting consistency. Drizzle on top of the cookies.
