2 lbs. half ground pork, half ground ham
2 slices of bread
milk to soak bread
1 egg
heaping T. brown sugar
salt
pepper
minced onion to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Place bread in bowl. Pour enough milk over it to soak. Add remaining ingredients. I mix it with my hands to get it mixed well. Form loaf in loaf pan
Bake 350º for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

*Grandma adds a sweet/sour sauce to this:
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
1/2 t. dry mustard
Heat until sugar dissolves - pour on top.
