5 c. PROCESSED Swiss American cheese
2 c. water
1 c. Chablis (Senterne) Wine

1/4 tsp. accent

1/2 loaf Rye Bread
1/2 loaf French Bread

Directions:
Directions:
Be sure to use PROCESSED Swiss American cheese, or it won't melt right.
Grate cheese, bring water, wine, butter and seasoning to boil, then add cheese and set into double boiler (use stainless steel or ceramic pot). Stir thouroghly with wooden spoon until cheese melts into heavy sauce (if too thick add more wine,; if too thin, add ore cheese). Dice Bread into 2 inch squares and brown lightly in oven.
Must use double boiler or cheese will burn. I think we just use the microwave.
