1 to 3lbs of clams
2 cups of water
1 beer
Large to Medium size pot
Melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse clams in strainer
Bring water and beer to a boil
Pour clams into boiling water.
Lower temperature to medium
Add cover tightly with lid.
Steam for 6-8 minutes.
Clam are ready to eat once the shell opens.
Do not eat unopened clams

Remove clams from the steamy water with a slotted spoon.
To eat, pull the clam from the shell, and dip into melted butter.
Note: If they are long neck clams, you will have to remove the thin seal from the black neck before you eat. If they are little neck clams, just eat directly from shell.
Have with lobsters and blueberry muffins. Delish!
