3/4 c currant jelly
1 large can pitted bing cherries with juice
1/2 c brandy
vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
On direct heat mealt currant jelly and add cherries with juice. Heat slowly until hot all the way through. In seprate small pan slowly heat brandy until warm.
Pour cherry mixture in to chaffing dish and slowly pour brandy into center of fruit. Light brandy with a match and ladle over individual portions of previously scooped vanilla ice cream. Double recipe for large groups. You may also use sponge cake or angel food cake in place of ice cream.
