1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp. almond extract
Powdered sugar
Fruit
Syrup

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Melt butter in a cast iron skillet. In a bowl, mix flour, eggs, milk, and extract together until smooth. Pour in melted butter and mix well. Pour mixture back into hot skillet and return to oven for baking. Place on lower rack for about 15 minutes, then move to top rack for additional 12 - 15 minutes. A large bubble will arise. This is normal. After browned, remove from oven and dust with powdered sugar. Add fruit or syrup and slice to serve.
