Grandma's Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

1 1/2 c. scalded milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. margarine
1 tsp. salt
2 pkg. dry yeast
1 tsp. sugar
4 1/2 c. flour (5 c. if made with water instead of milk)

Icing:
6 tsp. oleo
15 tsp. milk
Powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk and let cool,
Combine yeast, warm water, and 1 tsp.sugar and let rise.
Combine cooled milk, salt, sugar, margarine, eggs, yeast mixture, and 2 c. flour. Beat this for 2 minutes.
Slowly add remaining flour and beat well.
Let rise until doubled in size.
Put on floured bread board and divide in half. Let rest for 7 minutes.
Yeast rolls - roll out dough and cut out rolls.
Cinnamon Rolls - roll out dough and cover with melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture. Roll up into a log and cut 3/4 - 1 in. rolls. Place rolls on a greased cookie sheet. Let rise.
Bake at 375º for approximately 13 minutes. Ice while still hot.

Icing:
Boil milk and oleo for 2 minutes
add to powdered sugar and beat.
Add vanilla and beat.
Spread on rolls.
