1 Frozen Pie Shell
4 oz. bacon cooked and crumbled
1/2 Cup Diced or shredded Swiss Cheese
2 Cups milk or cream
3 Eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
Pinch of ground nutmeg
1 tsp. chopped chives

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake prepared pie shell according to directions. While still warm, brush the baked shell with beaten egg yoke.
Whisk together the milk (or cream),eggs,salt,pepper, ground nutmeg, and chives. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on the bottom of the pie shell, followed by 1/2 Cup diced or shredded Swiss Cheese. Pour custard mixture over the cheese. Bake at 375º for 35 to 40 minutes or until top is golden brown.
