Pork chops, your choice of cut, and how many, but don't use the really thin-sliced ones
Beaten egg, mixed with a little water, for dipping
Dry bread crumbs, for dredging
Lawry's© Seasoned Salt, and pepper, to taste
Sliced onions

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325º. Mix egg and water (about 1 tablespoon of water to each egg) in a shallow dish large enough to dip chops into.

2. Sprinkle bread crumbs onto a large sheet of waxed paper.

3. Dip each chop into egg mixture, then coat well with the bread crumbs on both sides. Arrange in a lightly greased, shallow baking pan (13x9-inch works well)

4. Sprinkle to taste with the seasoned salt and the pepper, then arrange sliced onions over the top.

5. Cover pan tightly with foil and bake for 1 1½ to 1 ¾ hours.

From Debbie: Mom's chops were always so delicious, and tender too! She usually served them with buttered rice and a vegetable.
