1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
˝ c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 T water
1 t vanilla
3 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 t baking soda
˝ t salt
1 package (81/2 oz) Rockwood solid chocolate mint wafers *
Walnut halves or sprinkles

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, water and vanilla, mixing well. In a separate bowl mix the dry ingredients and then add to the cream mixture, blending thoroughly. Cover and chill at least 2 hours. Enclose each wafer in about 1 T of chilled dough, rolling into a ball. Place about 2 inches apart on a baking sheet and top with a walnut half or sprinkles. Bake at 375 for 10-12 min.

* Rockwood wafers are not available in the states anymore, I use Andes mints broken in half but you can use any chocolate mint in wafer or chip form
