I am William F. Moore (Bill). I was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on May 13, 1938. When I was in the 9th grade of school we moved to Huntington, WV where I finished Jr. High School at West Jr. High and Enslow Jr. High. I graduated from Huntington East High School in 1956 and from Kentucky Christian College (now Kentucky Christian University) in 1960. Currently I live within sight of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indianapolis, Indiana.
My father was William L. Moore, his father was William F. Moore, but due to his early death my dad was raised by his step father Lemuel (Lem) Arbaugh. We trace our family to William N. Moore who lived in Guyandotte. I called him my grandpa with whiskers. I have two sons, William R. Moore and Gary W. Moore. Both live in Indianapolis and work for a company called Woodmizer.

My parents and grandparents are all deceased now. My father managed Bradley's White Pantry on 9th Street and 5th Avenue in Huntington. I worked there until I went to college. Ultimately the restaurant was sold and developed a very bad reputation but that was after we were out of it.
After college I spent many years in the Christian Church ministry, and I currently attend Chapel Rock Christian Church.
I later sold appliances for a while until I went in business for myself. I rented portable washers and dryers to people in apartments and also had a model railroad supply store.
I worked for 5 years as the station manager for the Speedway, an Indiana cable television station. Once retired, I began to substitute teach in the Speedway school system.
Currently, I teach at the Speedway High School as needed and continue to build and sell model railroad structures (if you would like to see some of the building I have built and currently have listed for sale, see eBay, and scan for Bill Moore Wood).
