6 medium apples
1/2 to 3/4 c. water
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 c. sugar
1 cinnamon stick or 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice apples very thin and place in a saucepan. Add water. Cover saucepan and cook over medium heat until fork tender (about 15 to 20 minutes). Stir occasionally. Add water when needed to keep apples from scorching.

When the apples are tender, remove from heat and blend in sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
