8 ears of white (sweet) corn
2 tbsp bacon grease
1 tbsp pepper
1/2 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Use a sharp knife and cut kernels off cob. Cut only half deep into the kernels. After cutting all the kernels, use the back edge of the knife to scrape the corn milk off the cob. Heat bacon grease in skillet on medium high. When bubbly, carefully put the corn and corn milk into bacon grease. Add pepper and let sit for several minutes. turn heat down to medium. Stir mixture. Add milk if corn becomes to dry. The corn should be less runny than creamed corn. If you need more milk add after 10 minutes. Cook another 10 minutes. Corn is done when kernels start to turn yellow.
