¾ c softened margarine
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/3 c flour
½ tsp baking powder
3 T baking cocoa
1 ½ c. sugar
4 c miniature mashmallows
3 eggs
Topping:
3 T butter or margarine
8 oz chocolate chips
1 c peanut butter
2 c. rice crispies
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla, beat until fluffy. Combine flour, baking powder and cocoa add to creamed butter mixture. Spread in greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 – 18 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle marshmallows over hot bars, bake for an additional 2-3 minutes. Using a wet knife spread melted marshmallows over bars. Cool. Combine chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter in small sauce pan, melt over low heat, stirring constantly until melted and well blended. Remove from heat, stir in cereal. Spread over bars and chill.
