1 8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 eggs
¼ c sugar
3 T corn starch
½ tsp vanilla
4 1 oz unsweetened chocolate squares
½ c butter, soft
2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 1/3 c milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cream cheese, 1 egg, and ¼ c sugar at high speed until smooth. Add 3 T milk, 2 T butter, cornstarch, and ½ tsp vanilla; set aside. Heat chocolate in top of double boiler. Cream ½ c butter, add 2 c sugar, then 2 eggs. Combine flour, baking powder, soda, and salt; stir well. Add flour mixture to cream mixture alternately with 1 1/3 c milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix after each addition. Stir in melted chocolate and 1 tsp vanilla. Spread ½ of chocolate batter in greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Spoon reserved cream cheese mixture evenly over chocolate batter. Bake at 350 for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick come out of center clean. Let cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Spread frosting over cake.
