180g trimmed chicken livers
15 ml White Wine vinegar
180 g Butter
25 ml Port
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
65 g dried figs
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Put Chicken livers in a pan, cover with water and add vinegar. Cook for 5 minutes then drain.

Put livers, butter, port, salt, cayenne pepper in bowl with metal blade. Blend until the mixture forms a pate. Add the figs and blend.
Transfer the mixture to individual ramekins, allow to cool and place in fridge.
