SIFT TOGETHER INTO BOWL; 1 1/2 C. Flour 1 1/ 2 C. Sugar 2 1/2 Baking Powder 1t. salt
ADD 1/3 C. Shortening 1 C Milk ADD 2 Eggs 2 1/2 oz Unsweetened melted chocolate 1/2 t. Red Food Coloring

Continue beating 2 more minutes. Fold in 2/3 Chopped nuts. Bake 300º 30-35 minutes
