1/2 pound dates chopped
1/3 c water
1/4 c sugar
1/4 c nuts chopped
1/2 c margarine
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
2 c flour
1/2 t soda
1/4 t salt
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Cook dates, sugar and water for 5 minutes. Add nuts. Cream rest of ingredients together. Roll out to 1/4" thickness and spread with date mixture. Roll up and slice 1/4" thick. Bake for 10 - 15 minutes.
