1 c. & 2 Tbsp. sugar
6 Tbsp. butter
1 egg
3/4 c. milk
3 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. fresh, frozen or canned blueberries

Topping: Mix together
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Blend sugar, butter, egg and milk. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Combine the two mixtures. Stir in 2 cups blueberries. Cover with the topping.

Pour in a 10" x 9" or 8" x 8" pan. Bake at 375º for 35-40 minutes.

The 1st grade teacher for our three children shared this recipe with our family. Our kids loved picking huckleberries, freezing some for pancakes and making this buckle.
