1 1/2 sticks margarine
3/4 c. white sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tea. vanilla
2 c. flour

Directions:
Mix dough and mash on cookie sheet. Brush top with beaten egg white. Sprinkle with brown sugar (well covered), then with broken pecans.
Bake in 300º - 325º oven for 30 min. Cool, cut into squares.
