1 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
4 to 5 tsp. lemon extract
4 eggs
1 c. whole fat milk
3 ½ tsp. baking powder
5 to 6 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and margarine. Add lemon extract, eggs and milk
2. Mix baking powder with flour and gradually add to mixture
3. Combine all flour until dough is kneading consistency
4. Knead dough on lightly floured surface until dough is smooth and not sticky
5. Let rest under covered bowl for about 20 mins.
6. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and take a generous tablespoons of dough and roll about ¼ inch thick and 4 inches long and make a knot
7. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake tof 8 to 10 mins. until verylightly brown and cookie is just set. Remove from cookie sheet and cool. Decorate as desired
