¼ lb butter
2 c. water
2 – 1 oz. squares of baking chocolate
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
. Melt chocolate and butter add 1 c. water. Pour sugar into melted mixture and cool
2. Add eggs and sift together and add flour and baking soda. Add and beat 2 tsp. vanilla and 1 c. boiling water
3. Pour into well greased tube pan and bake at 350 for 45 to 50 mins.
