1 egg
½ c. milk
1 ½ c. herb seasoned stuffing croutons
1 ½ lean ground beef
2/3 c. thick applesauce
3 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1 ½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. sage
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 can (10 ½ oz.) cream of celery soup
½ c. water

Directions:
Directions:
1.Beat egg, blend in milk and add croutons, let stand for 5 minutes until croutons are soft and have absorbed most of the liquid.
2.Smooth with fork and add remainder of ingredients
3.Shape into balls and place in shallow baking pan.
4.Mix together soup and water and pour over meatballs
5.Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
