1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick), 1/4 cup flour, 2 cups milk, 1/2 tsp salt, Dash pepper, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 cup sliced green onions, 2 1/2 cups medium or sharp cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Shred the cheddar and set aside. With the butter, flour, milk, salt, and pepper, make your own white sauce. Stir all ingredients together in a medium saucepan. Now add green onions and cheese stirring until cheese is melted. Pour into a fondue pot, with a low flame or on low. With fondue sticks...dip chunks of crusty bread in it.
