Select field corn and husk the small ears.
Put ears in cold water without salt in pot on stove. Boil for 10 mins.
Use sterile pt. jars and pack corn lengthwise. Fill jar as closely as possible.
Put 1/2 tsp. salt on top. Pinch of tumeric on top. Pour over each jar the syrup made of
1 c. white vinegar
1 c. sugar
Fill each jar to overflowing
Seal jars tightly.
