1 Box German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 Stick Margarine, softened
1 1/2 c. Water
1/2 c. Oil
1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 (1 lb.) Bag Caramels
1/2- 1 c. Chopped Pecans

Frosting:
1 Stick Margarine
3 tbsp. Cocoa
6 tbsp. Evaporated Milk
1 box Powdered Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla

Cake:
Combine cake mix, butter, water, oil, and half can of condensed milk. Pour half of batter into greased and floured 13x9x2 in. baking dish. Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes. Melt and mix together the caramels and remaining half of condensed milk. Spread over the baked layer. Sprinkle generously with chopped pecans. Cover with remaining cake batter. Bake 26-35 minutes longer.

Frosting:
In a small saucepan, melt butter, cocoa, and evaporated milk. Remove from heat, and add powdered sugar, and vanilla and spread over cooled cake.
