Ingredients:  
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
3 cups sugar
6 medium ripe bananas, mashed
4 eggs
1 Tbls vanilla
4 cups sifted flour
2 tsp soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Blend in bananas,
eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, soda and salt and
add to banana mixture alternately with buttermilk.

Bake at 325 degrees until toothpick inserted in
the middle comes out clean.

I have divided this recipe in half and it still makes
