3 lbs. Nectarines, pitted and sliced into wedges
2 tbsp. Flour
2 tbsp. Sugar
1 package Blueberries
3 tbsp. Amaretto Liqueur
1/2 cup Mascarpone Cheese or Creme Fraiche

Topping
1 cup Flour
1/3 cup packed Light Brown Sugar
1/3 cup Sugar
1 cup Amaretti Cookies, coarsely crushed
1 stick unsalted Butter, cut into pieces

Directions:

Stir the flour and sugars in a bowl. Add the crushed cookies and mix well. Add in the butter and rub it in until moist clumps form.

Filling
Preheat oven to 350º. Butter a 13x9x2 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, mix the sugar and flour. Add in the nectarines and blueberries and combine. Stir in the liqueur.
Spoon the fruit into the prepared dish. Sprinkle the topping over the fruit.
Bake until the nectarines are tender and the topping is golden and crisp - about 45 minutes.
Cool for 10 minutes and then serve warm in bowls.
Top each bowl with a spoonful of mascarpone cheese or creme fraiche.

You can also make this recipe with peaches. And if you do not have Amaretti cookies you can always use Nilla Wafers.
