1 lb. fresh broccoli
1 tsp. baking soda
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 tsp. MSG
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Wash broccoli, cut off flowerets, and peel stems. Slice stems into quarters lengthwise and then into 2 pieces. Bring large pot of water to boil and add baking soda. All the broccoli all at once. Blanch for 1 minute only. Drain in colander and run with cold water to set green color (or plunge into ice water). Set aside until 5 minutes before serving. Heat oil in skillet to medium high. Add broccoli, wine and seasoning. Stir fry for no longer than 3 minutes.
