2 med. carrots
2 med. potatoes
1 can kidney beans
1/3 head cabbage

4 onions
1 lb. hamburg
Salt
Pepper
Chili powder

Directions:
Directions:
Combine in a large pot: carrots, potatoes, kidney beans, and cabbage. While ingredients in pot start cooking, brown in skillet: onions (cook until very brown), hamburg. Add browned ingredients to pot. Simmer 1 hour.

My mother always made this on the first day of deer season so it was ready when the hunters came in for dinner. It's a family favorite.
