1 pkg mild pork sausage, 9 " pie shell, unbaked, 1 1/2 cups Swiss or cheddar cheese, 4 eggs, lightly beaten, 1 cup cream.

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage until done. Crumble, then drain. Prepare 9 " pie shell. Mix cheese and sausage. Sprinkle in pie shell. Combine remaining ingredients then add to egg mixture. Carefully pour into pie shell over sausage and cheese. Bake at 375º for 40 - 45 minutes. Cool on rack for 10 minutes.

I line the pie crust with a strip of aluminum foil before baking to keep the crusts from burning before the pie is done.
