Directions:Fill a large pot with cold water & bring to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions. Pour pasta sauce into a sauce pot (make sure there is plenty of room for adding the beef to the sauce later).
While waiting for the water to boil, melt 1 stick butter in the microwave. Add 1-3 cloves mined garlic to butter & mix well. Cut baguette pieces on baking sheet. Distribute butter-garlic sauce evenly onto the 4 pieces of baguette. Sprinkle with cheese, set aside.
In a large frying pan, heat olive oil. Add onions & beef. Season beef with sale, black pepper & celery seed. Sautee breaking the beef into small pieces. Add mushrooms & continue to sautee until beef is thoroughly cooked. Add the contents of frying pan to pot with the past sauce—if beef seems greasy, drain off oil before adding to sauce.
Put cheesy bread in oven, remove when cheese just starts to turn golden. Cut into pieces & place in serving bow. Cover & keep warm.
Mix beef & mushroom mix into sauce & add basil, oregano & 2-5 mined garlic cloves (to taste!) to sauce. Mix well. |
