1 C. sugar
1 C. powdered sugar
1 C. butter
1 C. cooking oil
2 eggs
4 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine two sugars, oil and eggs. Add rest of ingredients and beat. Roll into balls. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake 350º oven 10-12 minutes. Frost when cool.

Do not use this recipe for roll out cookies. These only work as stated above. They come out soft and stay soft. So if you like a soft sugar cookie this would be a great recipe for you.
