1 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans chopped
1 Yellow Cake Mix
1 3 3/4 oz Instant Vanilla Pudding
3/4 cup Milk
1/2 cup plus 1 table Oil
1/4 cup Dark Rum
4 Eggs beaten
1 teas Almond Extract
Scant pinch Nutmet (less than 1/8 teas)
Glaze:
1/2 cup Butter
1/4 cup Water
1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Dark Rum
1 teas Almond Extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Grease and flour 10 inch tube pan. Sprinkle nuts evenly over bottom of pan. Combine remaing ingredients until just smooth and no lumps. Do not over beat. Pour batter into pan. Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan. Melt butter in water over low heat. Stir in sugar. Boil for 5 minutes. Stir in rum and almond extract. Poke holes in top of cake with a fork. Drizzle glaze over top.
