1 lb Jimmy Dean hot breakfast sausage
2 T oil
2 c uncooked rice
4 c water
1 small onion, diced
1 small bell pepper, diced
1 T each salt, pepper, garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, over medium high heat, brown the sausage in the oil. When the sausage is half-way cooked, add the onions and peppers, continue to cook until sausage is completely browned. Add rice, water and spices. Bring to a boil, then cover with a tight fitting lid and lower the heat to low for 20 minutes.
