3 cups flour (not sifted)
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
1 1/2 cup shortening
3 tsp baking powder
1 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:

Beat all ingredients together on high for 5 1/2 minutes. Bake at 325º in greased and floured tube pan 1 hr and 20 min, check at 1 hour. Cool upside down.
