1 unbaked, 9-inch pastry shell, chilled
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
3 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. lemon zest
3 tbsp. fresh lemon
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and flour; stir in eggs. Add melted butter and buttermilk; mix well. Stir in lemon zest, fresh lemon juice and extract. Pour into chilled pastry shell and bake for 10 minutes at 425 degree F. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F. and bake an additional 35 minutes. (Do not oven door while baking.)
