3/4 cup un-sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons water
12 ounce package semi-sweet chocolate
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º

In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
In small saucepan, combine butter, sugar and water and bring just to a boil. Remove from heat.
Add 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate and vanilla extract.
Stir until morsels melt and mixture is smooth.
Transfer to a large bowl and add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Gradually blend in flour mixture and stir in remaining chocolate and nuts.

Spread into greased 9 inch square baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes.
