For 5 gallons of wine:
25 lbs grapes (more or less)
2 lbs sugar to a gallon

Directions:
Directions:
Mash the grapes in a crock. Let sit 3 or 4 days until fermented. Squeeze and measure and add 2 lbs sugar to gallon of juice. Mix together, pour in a jug, then fill jug with water. Nothing on top until it cooks out. Then cheese cloth, then sand bag.
P.S. Don't let set too long after you mashed the grapes -- causes wine to turn to vinegar.
P.S. Dissolve sugar in juice.
P.S. 4 to 5 lbs grapes to one gallon wine
