3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 scant tsp. soda
dash of nutmeg
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
4 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Beat 2 eggs,1c.sugar,4 tbsp.milk and vanilla.

Into another bowl mix 3 c. sugar,2 tsp.baking powder, 1 scant tsp. soda, dash of nutmeg and cut into this 1 c. shortening or butter.

Mix with the above. Roll out and cut as desired and bake at 350º until brown around the edges.
