1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. pork
1/2 lb. ground turkey
1 egg
2 cloves minced garlic
1/4 c. grated Romano cheese
1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
3 slices white bread (pulled apart and tossed with 2 tbsp. water
1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper
1/4 c. dry breadcrumbs

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, pork, turkey, egg, garlic, Romano cheese, parsley, and white bread. Pull the bread apart and toss with 2 tbsp. water - that's the secret!, and salt and pepper. Mix well. Add dry breadcrumbs. Mix again and form into balls. Heat 1/4 inch Crisco Natural blend in a large frying pan. Add meatballs in a single layer and cook at medium high heat for 4 minutes. Flip. Cook 4-6 minutes (until done). Drain in a paper towel-lined bowl.

This recipe makes great meatballs. The secret is using good quality bread. These meatballs are better with a mixture of meat, but if all you have is hamburger - that's okay, too.
