Bring to a boil:
1/2 c. sugar
Pinch salt
Juice of 1 lemon
Juice and rind of 1 orange
3/4 c. pineapple juice

Thicken with 2 Tbsp. corn starch dissolved in 1/4 c. cold water

Pour mixture over these fruits while still warm:
4 bananas, sliced
1 can pineapple chunks
2 cans mandarin oranges
Lots of sliced strawberries
