1 large can cherry pie filling
1 large can of crushed pineapple
1 box yellow cake mix
1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups pecan bits
1/4 cup sugar (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Drain the juice from the pineapples and discard juice. Mix the pineapple, cherry pie filling and sugar. Spread evenly into a 9x13 cake pan. Pour the cake mix straight out of the box evenly over the fruit. Sprinkle the pecan bits evenly over the top. Melt butter in microwave and drizzle evenly over the top. Bake for 1&1/2 hours, rotating after 45 minutes. Can be eaten hot or refrigerated for later.
