1 Lb lean ground beef, 1 tsp oil
1 large sweet Vidalia onion, chopped
2 cups chopped carrots
2 cups frozen peas, blanched
2 cups mushrooms, chopped
2 jars au jus beef gravy
1/4 cup A-1 Steak Sauce
2 Tbsp Gravy Master
Mashed potatoes:
5 Lbs peeled, diced potatoes (Yukon gold best)
1/4 Lb butter
About 2 cups of milk
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
In a large saucepan, saute` beef with a small amount of oil, breaking up into small pieces.
While meat is cooking,saute` remainder of vegetable ingredients in another saucepan.
Add liquid ingredients and continue to heat over medium heat. Combine all ingredients into large saucepan once meat is cooked through. Continue on medium heat until water cooks off and mixture thickens.
Mashed potatoes: Boil potatoes until they break apart with fork, about 12 minutes. Drain thoroughly, return to pot. Put over med heat, turning until water is evaporated. Take off heat, add butter and milk. Mash by hand or electric mixer, adding extra milk to thickness you want. Salt and pepper to taste.
Put a large spoon of meat mixture in a bowl and a spoonful of mashed potatoes on top.
