2 baskets of strawberries
Jar of Marie's Strawberry glaze
1 good ready made pie crust-baked
French Cream:
1 8 oz package cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 lemon, zested and juiced
(pineapple juice or almond flavoring if desired)

Directions:

Bake pie crust shell as directed on pkg. Cool shell before adding remaining ingredients. Make French Cream: Soften cream cheese and the whip with powdered sugar. whip cream and sugar together until it forms soft peaks. Combine beaten cream cheese, whipped cream, lemon juice and zest; continue to beat, adding just enough pineapple juice to achieve desired consistency.

Put the French Cream in the bottom of the crust. Cut the strawberries to bite size pieces and mix with Marie's Glaze. Put strawberry mix on top of cream. Refrigerate.

Makes a beautiful spring pie. Can also use cream separately as a fruit dip for a fruit tray.
